Stackward is a block-placement puzzle with 200 designed levels rather than an endless random drip. Fit pieces onto the board and clear rows, columns, and quarters — a placement that completes several clears them all at once. Every shipped level is re-solved at build time and its solution replayed through the real play engine, so a level nobody can beat can never reach you.

Every level is proved, not assumed
All 200 levels are re-solved before release and the winning line is replayed through the same engine you play, with a hit search budget treated as failure rather than success. A level that cheats never ships.
Three regions, one placement
Rows, columns, and quarters all clear. A block that completes more than one clears every one of them, and the overlap only counts once — so holding out for the bigger clear genuinely pays.
Difficulty you can trust
Grades come from a deliberately weak simulated player actually playing the level, not from the generator's own parameters. The ladder is asserted never to step backwards.
A hint that never lies
If the search runs out of budget the hint reports itself unavailable rather than claiming there is no solution. It will not tell you a winnable board is dead.
