Upward is a fast number-merging arcade game where every drop matters, the stack keeps rising, and "one more try" becomes a scheduling issue.

Clear rules, real identity, and a reason to improve.

Drop-and-merge column climbing

Drop numbered tiles into columns, merge equal neighbors, and keep the board alive as the pressure rises.

Daily seed and global leaderboard

Same challenge. Same board. Better excuses when your friend beats you by 12 points.

Streaks, Pro sync, and no forced ads

Play the run because you want to, not because a fake countdown bullied you into it.

Why we built it

Merge games are great until they go flat. Upward adds pressure, height, and daily competition so every drop matters.

Who it is for

Arcade players who like fast sessions, clean rules, rising tension, and scores they immediately believe they can beat.

How a run works

Drop → merge → climb → survive the rising board → start the next run with a better plan.

Free to climb. Unlock the rest.

Upward is free to start — the current free tier includes the Daily Climb, Classic mode, and three casual runs a day. The full unlock removes the daily run cap and opens the Blitz, 50 Drops, and Peak Target modes, the seeded Daily Climb leaderboard and friend challenges, Streak Savers, deep archive and history, full stats, and cloud sync.

  • Free: Daily Climb, Classic, and 3 casual runs a day
  • Upward Full Game Unlock: $4.99 one-time
  • StackForge Play Pass: $2.99/mo or $14.99/yr — Pro in every StackForge game
